We have a wealth of experience in successfully delivering projects across all educational sectors. We work closely with clients to develop solutions that meet the highest design standards and provide innovative environments that engage and motivate students of all ages.

Healthcare

Samuel Stevenson & Sons has extensive experience in working on healthcare projects, including our work at the Antrim Area Hospital Site for the Northern Health and Social Care Trust and the Health Sciences Campus for Queen's University.

Sports & Leisure

We aim to create sports and leisure facilities that provide a strong sense of occasion while providing world-class facilities to support and encourage participation and competition. We work closely with clients and specialists to design facilities that meet exacting standards.

Residential

We offer a full service for the delivery of bespoke houses and refurbishment projects for private clients. We develop close relationships with clients to ensure their project brief is fully developed and their aims and aspirations are fully met.

Community & Arts

We understand the importance of designing buildings that meet the needs of the community and work closely with clients and user groups to ensure facilities are provided to fully meet the project brief.

Conservation

We believe that historic buildings require a sustainable purpose to be successfully preserved. Our Director, Suzanne McCoy, is an RIBA registrant conservation architect and sits on the RSUA conservation committee. We have a deep understanding of the importance of preserving our heritage and have experience in the repair, retention, and reuse of historic building stock.

Our Team

Our team of professionals and technical staff is led by two chartered architectural directors, Mark Reid and Clare Ogle, with Suzanne McCoy acting as a consultant. We have our own in-house integrated management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018, which is audited biannually by SGS United Kingdom limited.

We take site context and the client brief into consideration, and our designs are always consistent with both programming and cost targets and good construction practice.
