Welcome to dpa, a South East London based Architects practice specialising in residential projects. Our expertise lies in designing new build houses, extensions, conversions, and refurbishments, and we operate throughout London and the South East of England. We understand that every project is unique, regardless of its size, and we approach each one with the same level of consideration and creativity. Our clients are primarily homeowners, many of whom are new to building projects. Experience and Qualifications

At dpa, we are fully qualified RIBA Chartered Architects with over 17 years of experience in the residential sector. We have completed over 30 built projects and have established relationships with a network of consultants, including Structural Engineers and Party Wall Surveyors. We also have a list of reliable builders that we have worked with in the past and can advise you on the best ones to consider for your project.

Design

At dpa, we work closely with our clients to create designs that meet their needs, budget, and priorities. Our design process involves three sequential stages.

• Stage One: Meeting with You - We begin with an initial meeting at the property to discuss your ambitions, budget, and priorities. We assess the building and site's constraints and opportunities and generate an outline brief for the project.
• Stage Two: Design Development - We prepare detailed design documents for the scheme and advise on the engagement of other consultants required. We work closely with these consultants and integrate their work into the design development documents.
• Stage Three: The Build - We attend regular site meetings with you and the builder to monitor progress, quality, and costs. We take a hands-on approach to the build, answering queries and providing the builder with any additional information he/she might require.

Our services can be tailored to suit your project and budget. We offer a full project service that follows the sequence of stages described above. Alternatively, we can suggest other service packages to suit your project. Our fees are competitive and transparent.

Should you require an initial estimate of the building construction cost before embarking on Stage Two, we would prepare this either before or after Planning Approval has been sought.
