Our Story

Our journey began over 15 years ago when Andrew and Rosemary Tomkins opened their practice in Farnham, Surrey. We started as a small office in the centre of the town, once a blacksmith's forge, which showcased our ability to refurbish historic buildings as well as create contemporary new spaces. We have recently redesigned and reconfigured the space as a modern, spacious home, reflecting our commitment to transforming spaces into unique homes.

At Abode Architects, we take a creative and inclusive approach to architectural design. We believe that every project is unique and requires a tailored approach. We take the time to understand our clients' needs through inquisitive listening and explorative collaboration. Our team is passionate about exploring design options through sketches and 3D CAD models, and we pride ourselves on our technical drawings and extensive site experience.
