At Prime Meridian, we have been delivering architectural services for over three decades. Our architectural and structural engineering firm was founded in 1989, with offices in Central London and Somerset, as well as satellite offices in Surrey and Devon. We have extensive experience in various sectors including residential, commercial, education, and healthcare.

Our team consists of qualified architects, architectural technologists, structural engineers, and energy assessors who are dedicated to providing innovative building designs that cater to our clients' needs. We believe in the importance of sustainability in building design and aim to create low carbon, low energy buildings that contribute to a sustainable built environment.

Our director, David Minns, has been instrumental in shaping our practice's approach to sustainable building design. With a Master of Science in sustainable building design, David continues to research and develop new methods for sustainable building practices. His commitment to sustainability is reflected in our work, and we strive to ensure that all our projects are environmentally friendly and energy-efficient.

John Bater, another director at Prime Meridian, has over 35 years of experience in building design. He has managed large education modernisation projects and has been responsible for substantial new build programmes for multi-storey private and social housing projects. His expertise in managing complex projects has been invaluable to our clients and has contributed significantly to our success.

Jainti Patel, our structural engineer, has 40 years of experience in the field. With a background in civil engineering, Jainti has worked on a wide range of projects, from alterations to Grade I Listed buildings to new multi-storey structures. He manages our structural engineering section and works closely with our architectural team to ensure that all our projects are structurally sound and meet the highest standards.

We also have a team of architectural technologists and assistants who are skilled in sustainable design and energy assessment. Simon Hill, for instance, is an architectural technologist with an MSc in sustainable design. He manages our healthcare projects and is a registered energy assessor. Dan Bishop, another architectural assistant, has a BA (Hons) in Architecture and works closely with our design team to deliver innovative and sustainable architectural solutions.
