Harrington's Architecture and Design is an East Anglian based design office, set up in 2005 and owned and run by award-winning architectural consultant, Ian Harrington. With a focus on the residential sector, Ian specialises in individual house design, conversions, makeovers, extensions and improvements, and advising on difficult planning & listed building consents.

Ian Harrington has been working for private practice architects since 1973, and most recently as design director for Westbury Garden Rooms Ltd. He has been a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) since 1978, and is a contributor to Conservation in Essex guide to extension of historic buildings. Ian has built up a sound relationship with Planning Officers and Building Conservation Officers particularly in Kent, Essex, Suffolk and East Herts areas, and has a proven reputation for producing successful concept designs.
