Chris Dyson Architects is a design agency based in London, with a portfolio that spans across the residential, commercial, and cultural sectors. 1. Design and Planning: We offer a full design service, from initial feasibility studies and concept designs, through to planning applications and detailed design. Our team has a wealth of experience in navigating the planning system, and we have a strong track record of securing planning permission for even the most challenging sites.

2. Interior Design: We believe that the interior of a building is just as important as the exterior. Our interior design service includes space planning, lighting design, bathroom and kitchen design, and furniture design.

3. Conservation and Restoration: We have a deep appreciation for historic buildings, and we have a wealth of experience in conservation and restoration projects. We approach these projects with a deep respect for the original building, while using modern methods and materials to ensure the building is fit for the 21st century.

Current Projects

We are currently working on a diverse range of projects, including:

• The renovation of a mid-century house in London, which involves the reconfiguration of the internal layout to better suit modern family life, as well as a complete overhaul of the exterior to improve its connection with the garden.

• The conversion of a historic industrial building in East London into modern office space for UnHerd Media.

• The renovation of a historic pub and stables in Essex, which will be transformed into a modern family home.

• The design of a new gallery space in Spitalfields, which will provide a much-needed cultural venue for the local community.

Awards and Recognition

We are proud to have been named in House and Garden magazine's Top 100 Interior Designers and Architects for 2024. We are also delighted to announce that our founder, Chris Dyson, will be part of the RIBA Regional Awards Jury this year.
