At Axis Design Architects, we are passionate about creating innovative and sustainable designs that cater to the needs of our clients and the environment. As architects and urban designers, we have a special interest in housing design, community projects, and sustainability. Our team of experts, led by directors Mike Menzies and Rob Annable, have many years of experience delivering projects of all scales, from neighbourhood masterplanning and estate-wide consultation exercises to individual residential design and domestic refurbishment.

We offer a wide range of services, including community centre design, energy performance standard research, flood resilient housing, low energy home refurbishment, and self-build home design. Our work is underpinned by a strong commitment to sustainability and environmental design. We believe that good design should not only be aesthetically pleasing but also sustainable and environmentally friendly. We achieve this by using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, which provides accuracy and efficiency in our work and allows us to render and visualise projects throughout each stage of the design process.
Our Experience
Our directors, Mike Menzies and Rob Annable, have a wealth of experience in the industry. Mike has been involved in many housing, masterplanning, consultation, and design-led projects, while Rob has a strong background in research and development, including innovative eco-friendly housing and award-winning energy-efficient refurbishment projects.
