At NWD Architects Ltd, we are a chartered RIBA practice with ARB registered architects, located in Kelsall, close to Chester, Tarporley, and Northwich. Established for 45 years, we offer a wide range of design, technical, and related services, including Passivhaus / low energy design, Interior Designer, site supervision, and Principal Designer. Our wealth of experience spans both new build and renovation/restoration projects, covering rural estates, private homes, residential, schools, retail, veterinary surgeries, and commercial properties.

Our Services

Our services include Passivhaus / low energy design, which involves creating buildings that are highly energy efficient and sustainable. We also offer Interior Designer services, where we focus on the interior spaces and how they can be optimized for functionality and aesthetics. Site supervision is another key service, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and to the required standards. Additionally, we provide Principal Designer services, which involve leading the design team and ensuring that all aspects of the project are integrated seamlessly.

Our Team

Our team is led by Managing Directors David Tilley and Harvey Davenport, both of whom have extensive experience in the architectural design industry. David has a background in Interior Architecture and has worked on various projects, including retail design and the refurbishment of Grade One and Two Listed Buildings. Harvey is a fully qualified Interior Designer and has led expansion programs for several high-profile retail clients. Our Technical Director, Matt Davenport, is a Chartered Architectural Technologist with expertise in green technologies and modern methods of construction. Heather Done, our Director - Architect, has a passion for sustainability and natural materials, and Siobahn Wilcox, our newest Architect, brings a fresh perspective and skills to the team.
