Pentangle Design Group, a Chartered Architectural practice, is a team of dedicated and creative Chartered Architects with a deep commitment to high-quality design. Established in 1974, the firm has built its reputation over four decades, guided by the core belief that meticulous preparation and agreement of the brief are essential to the success of any project. We strive for design excellence by innovating within financial limitations and client constraints. Our portfolio is diverse, encompassing commercial, domestic, hotel and leisure, retail, development, and residential projects. Our office is conveniently located in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, from where we receive Architectural commissions primarily from the surrounding towns, villages, and London. Over the years, the practice has received numerous awards and commendations, including the North Hertfordshire District Council Annual Civic Trust Award Scheme, the National Civic Trust Scheme, and the Letchworth Garden City Design Award Scheme.

We are also part of project development teams for large-scale or complex multi-disciplinary projects and accept first-stage concept designer commissions.

Our approach is thorough and professional, and we strive to deliver innovative solutions through a variety of sketches, 3D Computer Aided Modelling, still images, and rendering techniques. We ensure that the design criteria of the brief and the working philosophy of the practice are met at every stage of the project, with initial client contacts and briefing meetings taken by principals who maintain involvement throughout the entire project.
