Partnering for Inspired Design
A&M Architectural Partnership LLP is a highly respected architectural practice with a rich history dating back to 1980. Founded by Anthony Moon and Martin Brunton, the company has undergone significant changes over the years, including the retirement of Anthony Moon in 2008 and the formation of a limited liability partnership with Ken Edwards joining as a main partner. Today, the partnership consists of 14 dedicated staff members, including an RIBA-qualified architect, senior and junior technicians, project managers, and support staff. Over the past thirty years, we have successfully completed architectural projects ranging in value from 50,000 to 14 million.
As a reputable architectural practice, we pride ourselves on providing a personal service focused on the requirements of our clients. We strive to achieve the highest quality of architectural design and construction, executed within the constraints of budget and programme. We believe in effective personal relationships, working together with all parties to achieve the client's objectives. Our core business is holiday and leisure, working with leading industry professionals, but we are not confined to a specific project type. We undertake various architectural projects, including residential refurbishments, housing developments, commercial projects, conservation work, sports venues, and bars and restaurants.
Leisure Projects
Our leisure projects division is renowned for its expertise in designing and managing leisure facilities that cater to the entertainment and recreational needs of the public. Our portfolio includes projects such as swimming pools, eateries, touring amenities, activity centers, and holiday park developments. We pride ourselves on creating unique and functional designs that meet the needs of our clients and their customers.
Domestic Projects
Our domestic projects division focuses on providing architectural services to residential clients. We have successfully completed various projects, including residential developments, refurbishments, and extensions. Our attention to detail and commitment to providing a personalized service have earned us a reputation as a trusted and reliable architectural practice.
Some of our notable domestic projects include:
- Amherst Road, Hastings: A residential development comprising seven detached four-bedroom dwellings, six of which were split-level to take maximum advantage of the sloping site.
- Amherst Road, Hartfield Road, Bexhill-on-Sea: A new sun lounge erected over an existing beachfront boat house, designed to make the most of the elevated seafront location while being easily accessible from the main house and gardens.
- Bexhill Barons Oak Barn, Readers Lane, Iden: A two-storey extension to an existing barn conversion to accommodate a farm office at ground floor level and an additional bedroom at the first floor.
- Iden Pine Trees, Pett Level Road: A residential development comprising the extension and refurbishment of an original chalet together with the erection of three new dwellings and associated garaging. Development of the site is ongoing.
- Glenwood, Hawthorndene: A substantial detached bungalow in St. Leonards-on-Sea, where we were tasked with creating improved access to a loft converted to provide living and bedroom accommodation that takes full advantage of views across the established landscaped gardens and south towards the sea.
