At DP Metalwork, we have a rich history dating back to 1984, when we were first established as Deb Parrington Ltd in Carrington, Manchester. Our journey began as a thermal insulation and sheet metal work contractor for Shell Chemicals, Carrington, Manchester. Over the years, we have evolved to suit various changes in the market and have grown steadily. We moved to our current premises in 2004 and have since re-developed and extended them in 2012.

Our History

Our company has undergone several transformations, with the most significant being the change to Deb Parrington and Son Ltd in 1994. Julian Parrington took over as Managing Director, and we continued to grow and develop our services. In 2004, we re-branded as DP Metalwork, reflecting our focus on metalwork and fabrication.

• Architectural Metal Work: We specialise in the design, fabrication, and installation of architectural metalwork, including balustrades, canopies, and ornamental metalwork.
• Sheet Metal Work: We work with various materials, including stainless steel, aluminium, and zintec, and offer cutting, folding, and rolling services for sheet metal.
• Structural Steel Work: We fabricate and erect structural steelwork, from simple frames to complex steel-framed buildings.
• General Fabrication: Our team can work to a provided specification or provide a full design and drawing service.
• Project Management: We can manage general building projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are completed to the highest standard.
• Painting and Powder Coating: We offer a range of protective and decorative metal finishes, including painting and powder coating services.
