Richard Amos Ltd is an Architectural and Surveying practice covering the Scottish Borders, East Lothian, and Northumberland from our offices in Duns and Eyemouth. The company is a well-established local firm that has been in its second term of management since its formation in 1988. We offer a varied and flexible approach to meet our client's requirements, offering a full service from inception through to completion.

Our Services

We provide a comprehensive range of services to our clients, including Architectural Services, Building Surveying Services, and Health & Safety Services. Our Architectural Services team provides a full service from project inception through to completion, covering a range of domestic, commercial, and agricultural sectors. Whether working on historic buildings or designing contemporary new buildings, we work collaboratively to achieve the goal of the client brief.

Our Building Surveying Services team offers a range of building surveys, defect inspection, and analysis, as well as measured surveys of buildings and land. We can also assist with engaging with a contractor to carry out the remedial work.

Our Health & Safety Services team regularly assists our clients in preparing pre-construction information and can provide advice on the necessary arrangements for managing and organizing a project.

We have an established client base including Farm and Estate owners, Housing Associations, local and nationwide businesses, and private clients. The majority of our work comes from repeat business and referrals from our existing client base.

Our Team

Our team is led by David Burgon, Director, who has been with the company since 2005 and has a broad range of expertise in architectural projects, building inspections, and project management. Our team also includes David McKnight, Senior Architectural Technician, and other experienced professionals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional results for our clients.
